What pet parents say about Gray & Larell
- "Gray responded to our last minute requeste for dogistting for our dog and was great! Came early for a meet & greet, took great care of our energetic pup and was communicative throughout the stay. Would definitely book again, and recommend. Thanks Gray!

Gray is a smart, caring person and wonderful pet sitter. They took care of my cat Frank for a long weekend and I will definitely hire them again. Gray arrived right on time, asked all the right questions (some of which I might have forgotten to cover, like "where's the food?"?) and my cat loved them from the moment they met. Gray somehow knew how to gain Frank's trust right away and he was jumping up in their lap in no time. Also, Frank didn't refuse to eat like he's done in the past when I went away. Gray sent a picture everyday but otherwise was totally competent and independent staying in my house and managing alone. So nice to have a pet sitter that can just take over for me and even left my house neat and clean!Martha L. 2/23/2023

- "I was very close to rehoming my dog, not because I didn't love him, but beause I didn't understand his needs. I was ill equipped to handle an abused, rescue dog. I had no idea where to start and felt like I was failing him. I consulted many local trainers who wanted to put prong collars and e-collars on him. I couldn't expose him to more abuse. Larell listened to my concerns, did not judge, and came up with a solid plan of action for his behavior. We worked together to manage his anxiety and fear. He can go for walks in public, meet other dogs and more importantly, I know exactly how to advocate for him in situations that might make him uneasy. Thank you for saving my dog, and me."

"Larell offered a comprehensive plan for my fear-aggressive dog. It was easy to follow and she was in constant touch with me through the sessions to answer my questions and walk me through various situations. There is no one better in the Hudson Valley. "Sal Davis 6/2/2023

"I love the flexibility of being able to train in various places in Ulster County. It was important that I work with my dog, Doug, in real world situations and Larell was happy to meet us for several sessions in different places. We still meet to keep up social skills and manners working on new skills to maintain Doug's confidence."Mark and Tammy S. 7/19/2023

- "I am a first time dog owner and had no idea my puppy would resource guard. It was surprising but Larell took time to explain why dogs do this, and walked me through each step to adjust my puppys behavior. She is no longer guarding and is a very well behaved dog!"

"I highly recommend Larell as a behaviorist. My second dog, Lucy, was having some issues with other dogs and loud sounds. She was kind enough to meet me and take time to get to know my Lucy. We faithfully work together and continue our sessions so I can better understand my dog and she can better understand me."Maria Pelez 3/19/2023

"I cannot say how thankful I am for Larell and her services. I have a disability and am working toward training my dog as a service dog. Larell has been knowledgable, professional and ethical regarding the training and process. I could not have gotten this far without her patience and leadership skills."Bea DiVizio 4/4/2023

- "I searched for weeks to find a behaviorist who was qualified, educated, and science based. I also wanted to know whoever I hired was committed to positive training. Larell's prices were a bonus. Most of the trainers I contacted wanted to me to pay thousands up front and could not tell me how or where they were trained. No thanks. I will never use anyone except for Larell."

"I had a wonderful experience with Larell . She was considerate of my situation and concerns and spent time making a plan that I could follow between sessions. I'm older and on a fixed income and I was appreciative of her extra attention and the fact she checked in on me if she didn't hear from me. My sweet 10 year old yorkie, Toby, took to her right away!"Michelle F. 7/30/2023

"Larell was great with my male littermate dobermans. She approached the sitaution with professionalism and experience. As a long time dog handler, I was impressed with her viewpoints and ability to jump in and command the same respect I do with them. Highly recommend."Ken R. 8/6/2022
