“We are very pleased with The Canine Counselor. Brett has a clear understanding as to a dog’s behavior and explains it in a manner that we can better communicate with our dog.”

"After seeing 2 other dog behavior specialists for my dog's aggression, my vet told me I there was nothing else I could do but to put my dog down. My friend told me about Brett and figured I would give it one last shot. Within 20 minutes he had him around other dogs! Thank you Brett! You saved Franco's life!"

"Brett Endes helped my wife and I train our new bulldog puppy, Sadie. Brett’s unique insight garnered over years of working with dogs allowed him to show us, as new dog owners, how to be a leader to our dog. Brett explained to us that dogs naturally seek a hierarchy and look for leadership. By teaching us how to be a leader to our dog we established our dominance in the pack. Brett, through his lessons, taught our dog how to interact with other dogs and people. It’s a complicated process that is more training for the owner than the dog. However, the results are spectacular. We got a dog that is well balanced and obedient; the results are much more reliable than treat training and much kinder than classic physical methods of training. Brett really provides an insight into how dogs think and interact. We will use Brett’s methods when interacting with dogs the rest of our lives"

"We were introduced to the Canine Counselor through our first trainer who was retiring. He was very good and very strict and so we knew anyone he recommended had to be special, and we were right.
We were very pleased to meet and work with Brett. His training style was exactly what we were looking for and needed. When we started training we thought we wanted our dog to understand us. Instead Canine Counselor has taught us how to understand our dog. Training was done from the dog’s point of view, in terms of what did the dog need and how should we be trained as leaders to our dog.
We love that the Canine Counselor is a full service provider of dog care. We utilize their doggy day care and their boarding facilities. It’s wonderful to know that whenever we need to, we can drop off our dog Zeke for the day without needing to plan. Zeke absolutely loves going to doggy day care. He cannot wait to get into the door. It gives us peace of mind to know that only dogs that are trained or training with Brett and Jamie are allowed to board long term or for the day.
Group lessons are also fun and very worthwhile. We have been taking advantage of group lessons for the past 9 months. We enjoy training Zeke amongst other dogs and learning how to handle him amongst other dogs.
We have been going to the Canine Counselor since our dog was 6 months old. We are hoping to continue our relationship with the Canine Counselor throughout our dog’s life and all the dogs that come after him.
Thank you Canine counselor."
